Printing to pdf

Hi,

I want to print to pdf in A3 or A1 but when i goto page/print setup mac only recognizes my epson desktop printer which is upto A4 i see that i can manually enter in larger dimensions for pages but was wondering is there a driver or a file which would allow me to select larger pages then print to pdf.

Im aware this topic may have already been covered if someone knows could they redirect me

Cheers.

Hi,

You can add plotter (for example, HP DesignJet 450) in System Preferences and use it to plot to PDF with standard paper sizes (A0, A1, A2 ....B5, ArchA, ArchD ....)

See how-to here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-for-Mac/can-t-export-oversize-PDFs-Help/m-p/2825605#M924

In the Page Setup (PAGESETUP command, or the "Edit Page Setup" button in the Print Dialog), you can also add paper sizes from a predefined list of common page setups to the "Manage Custom Paper Size" dialog. Unfortunately, you can't do this from the regular print dialog, but with Page Setups, you can set it once and not worry about it for that drawing again. Please see the attached image.
