Printing Problems

I have AutoCAD 2017 on a MAC and a HP Design Jet T1300 PostScript Printer. Just recently when I print plans the fonts on the page print out larger than shown on AutoCAD and when there is bold letters next to regular letters the bold letters print slightly over the top of the regular letters on the right. I have reinstalled AutoCAD, reinstalled my printer and reinstalled the drivers for my printer and its still happening. Does anyone know what this could be????

Is your printer driver set to capture fonts? It probably needs to be.

That sounds more like settings you need to fix for your text before you plot: are you using annotative text?

HI @CoryBriz,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Please tell me, are you running Windows-based AutoCAD on your Mac? If so, is it in a Bootcamp Partition or are you running Parallels or something else?

Not sure about the drivers being set to capture fonts? How do you do that? So I was trying some other things till about 2:00 last night and I ended up coping and pasteing my entire drawing on another file and it worked. I didn't have the problem from that file. So I guess that drawing was corrupt??? not sure how that happened but not having the problem anymore.

Thank You!

Thank you for your reply and help. I have AutoCAD for the Mac so not using Bootcamp. I was trying other things last night and I ended up copying and pasteing the entire drawing onto another file and it fixed the problem. So that file must of been corrupt?? Not sure how it happened but it seems to be working fine now.

Thank You!
