pointer/cursor disappears when selecting command

I have installed Auocad LT 2024 for Mac and the update 2024.1. When I am drawing, and I want to select a command in the drafting panel my cursor/pointer disappears.

It also happens when I want to select a layer in the layers 'window'.

Is anyone having the same problem and is there a solution for this problem.

Thank you!

Gerda.

Hi Gerda,

 @gerda

Please specify your Mac model and macOS installed on your Mac.

Personally, I don't see this issue with the AutoCAD 2024.1 update on either Intel or M1 Macs with macOS Ventura.

Do you mean you cannot see arrow cursor when you move it to palettes - Properties, ToolSets?

Have you tried to restart your Mac?

yes that's what I mean. Mac is restarted daily so that doesn't solve the problem.

You can try to Reset AutoCAD, but all your custom settings, if any, will be removed.

So at first - use Export Settings from Tools menu to save your custom settings if you want to restore them after Resetting.

If Resetting won't help, you can Remove AutoCAD with "Remove AutoCAD LT" app, then install it again with the original installer. After this - install 2024.0.1 Hotfix, if you have it. If you don't have 2024.0.1 Hotfix installer at hand, try to install  2024.1 Update again.
