PMP FOLDER NOT FOUND

I abruptly got the error message PMP folder not found when trying to batch publish a PDF.  This was working in the past and abruptly stoped working.

Attached is the page setup.  I also find that batch publish does not let me choose most of the page setups that show in page setup manager.

I am trying to send somthing formated for Tabloid to PDF.  I dont know what the PMP folder is or what happend to it, I did not change anything.

Hi,

Are you able to batch publish from this file if you will use other than "Tabloid" paper size?
Are you able to batch publish from newly created file if you create page setup with "Tabloid" paper size in it?

This setting ( predifined save location ) is in Batch Publish window:

So, please, verify it. You need to expand "Show advanced options".

How you have changed margins?
I think the only one way to change them is to create custom paper size. So you are using custom paper size.
You need to try to recreate (delete, then create new) custom paper size and give it the name different from standard "Tabloid" name, than try to use this new custom paper size.

OK that allows me to publish.  Now the problem is when I publish to PDF the page is shifted partialy off the PDF view.

There are several things I dont understand about page setup manager.  The list of page setups I see if I invoke Page setup by right clidking in Project Manager is different from the list I see if I select File/PageSetupManager... from the menu.  Both are different from the list of page setups that I can choose in the Batch Publish window.

Are there more than one type of page setup?   Is there somwhere that the whole management of setups is described in the documentation?

Also the dotted line which I thought represented the printed area disappears when I change the default page setup with page setup manager.

I have established that exporting a single page to PDF gives the offset PDF. The same page with the same setup prints fine. Further if I use the OSX feature that allows printing to a PDF from the printer dialog that PDF is correct.

Thanks, I think I have found part of the problem.  It appears that a PDF page is the size of the area within the margins.  I created a tabloid page with no margins and a print setup using that and printed to the Adobe PDF driver and the image is correctly centered.

To print to a printer I do need margins and offsets so I had to create a different paper size and page setup.

Some other questions:

The batch publish window allows changing the page setup but I have to do it for each layout.  Is there a quick way to do this.?

The print dialog does not allow changing the page setup am I missing somthing?

The batch publish dialog does not allow choosing individual layouts, as far as I can tell the only way to publish selected layouts is to hit "Add open drawings" and then remove all the layouts that I dont want to print.  The plus button opens a dialog to include new drawings but does not allow selecting layouts within a drawing.  Is there some easier way to do this?

- yes, select all layouts in Batch Publish dialog (with Shift key pressed), than click on Layout name in one of the Layouts and select Named Page setup you want to apply:

- Yes, you can change Page setup from Prin dialog only temporary - for current print job

You can populate Batch Publish dialog with individual Layouts from opened drawing with Show Drawings and Layouts window (QUICKVIEW command).

In Drawing and Layouts window select Layouts you want to Batch publish (with Command key pressed), than right- click and select Print, this will add selected Layouts to Batch Publish:
