I want to insert pdf data into autocad, and scale contents of pdf data.

When I research that method, I find method of "import pdf" and "attach pdf underlay".

But I can't understand difference. So please teach me.

If I have any rude and expression, I'm sorry.

And because I usually don't use English, please teach me easy to understand.

Hi 田辺 明毅,

When you import PDF, AutoCAD attempts to convert all vector data in PDF file to AutoCAD objects (lines, arcs, polylines, text, etc) and place them to the drawing. So after you import PDF, its contents became the part of the drawin and there is no need to keep PDF alongside the DWG file. This method works fine if all data in PDF file is in vector format.

When you attach PDF, AutoCAD inserts it as external reference, the same way as raster image file. After you attach PDF, you need do keep it alongside with the drawing in order AutoCAD can find and load it each time you open the drawing.
