Not only I have to force quit more often than not (yes, I already downloaded the "fixer" file but nothing changed). Now I can't print in PDF NOR import into a PDF file. I am losing so much time!!!

Hi,

Have you tried to create named page setup and set it current before you print to PDF?
Are you using Custom paper size for PDF output? Which printer device you have on your Mac?

When I hit "print", this is the message I receive immediately: DWF6 eplot.PC3.: this plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons:the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The default plot device has been substituted." Then I hit OK and I get the following message: "The paper size in the layout is not supported by the selected plot device". I then hit OK and then I can print normally from my Canon. If I only want to save the drawing as a PDF file though, through the export function, I get an error message.

Your DWG files came from PC version of AutoCAD where they were saved after using "DWF6 export" plot device. Plus they were configured to use paper size which is not available on your Mac.
So as I said before, you need to edit page setup you are using for printing (saving to PDF) on your Mac. During editing page setup you will get the same messages as when you print, but this will happen only once. After you save page setup AutoCAD will write information about your printing device and paper sizes avaliable on your Mac and will never ask about them when you will start to print. Plus you will be able to save to PDF file without any issues.
