Paste screenshot into 2D template

I am wondering how to paste a screenshot from my mac into my 2d template?

On my windows it is a simple CTRL+V but I cannot figure out how to do this on my mac.

Help please!

Thanks.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Megan,

When you use Ctrl+V on PC, you paste raster image (screenshot) as OLE object to AutoCAD drawing, but there is no OLE technology on Mac side (macOS doesn't support it). That is why you cannot simply use Cmd+V on Mac in such case.
If you want to insert raster image into drawing template on Mac, you have only one option - save screenshot as raster image file and then attach it to template with IMAGEATTACH command. Keep in mind that you always have to keep attached raster image file at hand in order to allow AutoCAD to find it and show it in the drawing.
