Paper space is not translating the proper size from model space dimensions

I need my model space drawing to be in paper space (Arch D) at 1/2" architectural scale. However, when I transfer it into a viewport it shrinks in size. I'm new to autocad so I may have missed a few steps.

Hi @sagolia ,

I'm not sure I understand your question correctly.

Can you provide more details?

If viewport is too big after you set its scale, you can always grip-edit its borders to make it smaller - see attached drawing.

To clarify, the flats themselves should fill the space to the left of the titleblock. These are 4' by 8' flat drawings. They should be 1/2" scale in Arch D.  I expected the flats to not be that small in paper space.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about my issue.

Are you sure that the scale should be 1/2=1'-0" ?

Maybe it should be 1-1/2"=1'-0" ?

It definitely should be that scale. It makes sense. I just wanted to make sure that none of my model space settings were affecting the size of the flats. I was completing an assignment that had a finished project file. So I was confused why my scale was not replicating the flats at the same size. It might have been an error on the assignment. Thanks for your help.
