I want to pan with my left mouse button. Currently it creates a window lasso. I want to change this so I can pan instead of creating window lasso. How do I do that?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Andy,

Press Spacebar until crosshairs turns to "hand", now pan with left mouse button without releasing Spacebar.

Besides Maxim's suggestion, you can also use the Pan tool, to pan the drawing with left mouse button.

Hello,

With two fingers together it works PAN, closing them or opening them as a clip works ZOOM and with three fingers you change desks.

Annoyingly my spacebar opens the last command, just like enter. How do I change it so that I can get this panning functionality as an option?

Looks like you have "Enable quick secondary click as return key" option enabled in AutoCAD preferences.

I can use Spacebar for PAN with that option enabled on my side - if I press Spacebar and hold it until "hand" icon appears on screen, then I keep Spacebar pressed and move mouse to pan.
Do you use different workflow?

Sorry! Now I noticed that I'm in the wrong sub-forum. My bad, I didn't check well enough where I ended up when I searched for pan-options.

Some moderator could remove my messages 😃

Holding the middle mouse button to pan. that's the most used way.
