is there a setting within autocad LT Mac that lets me pan without holding down the space bar or the option key?

Put another way, is there a setting that will allow me to pan simply by pressing the mouse button down?

Hi,

Yes, if you have middle mouse button (or scroll wheel which acts as a middle button) and this button is functional on your System, than you can use it for punning.
You can verify the functionality of the middle button in Mac OS System preferences, plus in AutoCAD you need to set system variable MBUTTONPAN=1 (which is default value).
