When I plot and attempt to Edit Page Setup, I only get an incomplete Page Setup dialog box. I can't edit the screen, change plot styles, etc. I have to ESC to get the partially displayed dialog box to disappear.

Hi Marc,

I think you need to install all of these updates:

Thank you for the service pack links. It turns out I also needed Service Pack 1 (links below are 2 and 3). Page Setup Dialog Box now displays and works correctly.

There is one lost function I noticed after installing the service packs: one button scrolling disappeared. Usually, I hold down the "wheel" in between my two mouse buttons and it acts like a quick-scroll. That function is now lost. Any ideas? I use it frequently.

Thanks again for your help!

Best,

-Tracy

What happens when you click and drag now with the middle mouse button?
Please verify that system variable MBUTTONPAN=1.

Have you tried different mouse?

When I click and drag the middle mouse button, it takes me to Mac widget dashboard. This is what happens when I'm not in AutoCAD.

Same result using different mouse.

I saw an earlier question you answered about holding down space bar or option key. Those work, just clunkier than holding down the wheel.

Also, MBUTTONPAN = 1

Go to macOS System Preference -> Mission Control pane and change "Show Dashboard" from:

to this:

Hello Maxim_K,

I'd like to install Autodesk on a Mac OS X 10.9.5 but I cannot find the base downloadable, only some update files.

Can you help?  Thanks, Todd

Hi @tsaalman ,

You need AutoCAD 2016 for Mac (or earlier) for macOS 10.9, but this is rather old version.

I tried to use AVA:

https://ava.autodesk.com/modular/

but got the following message:

"Unfortunately, the product and/or release year you requested is currently unavailable for download. Please use the below options for more help."

Thanks, maxim_k! I hope it works on my old Mac OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks.
Alternativrly, my 64 bit Windows 7 OS. Will try when I return to my desk.
