Open DWG 2018 File on Mac Running AutoCAD 2017

Hi,

Can someone please let me know how to open / manipulate / save a 2018 DWG on a Mac running AutoCAD 2017 (without buying a Windows box)?

I do not beleive that TrueView is compatible with OS X?

Thanks,

You need to be using AutoCAD for MAC versions 2018 or 2019, ore try a free trial of one of them for a temp solution, or find a converter that works on a MAC from a 3rd party source, this old tip using AutoCADMobile is dead now.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous,

The method with AutoCAD WEB is dead too. 😞
To save DWG in earlier format you can:
- do it with AutoCAD 2021 for Mac trial
- ask someone who has AutoCAD on PC
