Missing Toolbars

Screen Shot 2015-10-24 at 16.16.19.pngOn reopening my AutoCAD 2015 application, all of my toolbars have dissappeared. The basic options (line, circle, etc.) toolbar is missing, layers is gone as is the toolbar that usually displays paper/model space and the snap/constrait options. The File, Edit, View, Help options that are usually displayed beside 'AutoCAD 2015' in the top left corner have also dissappeared.

This has happened several times and each time previously I have resorted to uninstalliing and reinstalling the programme, which is a nuisance and means I loose all my prefence settings and plotstyles etc..

Has anyone encountered this problem before or know a possible solution?

I really don't want to have lost all plotstlyes again.

I have updated the application in the past few days so it's at the latest version, but i've had this occur several times so the new version is not the issue.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

This issue has been discussed many times. Sometimes solution offered by me helps to resolve it:

If you need to save your plot styles before resetting (reinstalling) AutoCAD you can backup them now:
- at the command prompt type PLOTSTYLE, hit Return
- select "Reveal in Finder" from the drop-down list in the Plot Style window
- you will be redirected to the Finder window with the Folder where all your custom Plot Styles are.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Have you tried menu Format -> Plot Style?
Anyway, you can save plot styles from Page Setup dialog (you can access it from Plot window or from Page Setup Manager) - on the right side you can select "Print with Plot Styles" than you can use a button which starts Plot Style Editor.
