HI @moua.thao

Which version of AutoCAD for Mac are you using?

There is definitely no Design Center in the Mac product but I can easily edit multiline attributes.

I believe it ranges from 2017 to 2018.

Hi @moua.thao,

Which version are you using?  I am using AutoCAD for Mac 2018.2

It probably makes sense to only compare features on the latest version as that is what new customers/users would likely find as the most useful.

I must say though that the multi-line attribute editing does go back a ways. I can do it in the oldest version I have installed (2016).

ADCENTER has never been a feature of the MAC versions, try Content Palette instead https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-forum/autocad-mac-design-centre-urgent/m-p/7822347#M3...

MultiLine Attributes have been around for a couple of versions now: did you miss the check box that says MULTIPLE LINES under options? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2018/E...

I always was able to edit multiline attributes on Mac using EAE or just simply by double-clicking on it with Ctrl key pressed (just like in PC version this invoke ATTIPEDIT command on Mac).

We have the latest AutoCAD version installed our computers now for the MAC's.

You guys are correct, I am able to edit multi-line attributes.  Disregard original post. (Unfortunately I can't change it).  The look and feel of the MAC is so different that I didn't realize the  .... browse looking button wasn't greyed out.  Apologies for the confusion.

Hi @moua.thao,

Not a problem. If you would like me to "strike" that in your post I would be happy to do so. Thanks for your participation in the Community!

Sure thing.  I'd almost vote to redo this entire thread if possible back to original post since it's irrelevant information if possible.

Hi there

I have autocad 2019 installed on the mac. But there are so many things missing shortcut wise,  for instance, lockui.

I want to do something simple like move the toolbar but its a real headache doing it. Theres no double click on the ribbon bar to undock.

Also, no material edit function.Do I need to update or something? Very frustrating.

Most of the hints that users give on this can't be applied to my version because non of the shortcuts are there.

Hopefully it's just something simple like an update, because I'm hitting a wall

Hi @p.murphyGP4JH ,

Yes, a number of AutoCAD for Windows features are not available in AutoCAD for Mac:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Compare-...

And some shortcut are different. You can find information about AutoCAD for Mac shortcuts here:

https://www.autodesk.com/shortcuts/autocad-for-mac

and compare them with shortcuts in AutoCAD for Windows:

https://www.autodesk.com/shortcuts/autocad
