Hi!! I have a problem with this version of autocad.
I have installed it on my macbook 6,1 and it run quite well, but when I assign a material (by the material browser) to a solid, how can I modify the scale of the texture??
The autocad help says:
"Use the Texture Editor to define a texture’s appearance and how it is applied to an object.";
but where is the TEXTURE EDITOR????
Another question, can I assign a material to a layer???How???
Please, help me!!!! In vectorworks I can do it easily!!!
(I'm an Italian student, so excuse me if my English is not very good . . . .)

Hi,
Look in this document:
2011: What AutoCAD features are not available in AutoCAD for Mac
among other things, it says:
"Materials cannot be edited or created and you can not adjust the way a material maps on an object [MATERIALMAP]"
unfortunately...

Thank you very much for the answer but . . . . .oh my God!!! This is a very bad news!!!

thanks, bye!!!
I'm sure this doesn't help but OMG OMG OMG I cannot believe that, I know that I rarely use the built in materials for any rendering program no matter how good they appear. I need to have customizable selections to represent what I am rendering-that is the point of having high end software.
Common autodesk, how hard is to add this feature , and while your at it get the walk and fly settings added too.
