Hi All,

How do I manage the view window?   I seemed to have turned off a viewing window.   How do I turn on and off the view window?  Two examples are attached below.

Thank you, Doug.

Hi Doug,

If you mean switching between Paper space and Model space viewport (activate - deactivate viewport in Layout), then there is a button on the Status Bar:

Hi Maxim,

Thank you for your help. I think that I lost the viewport by making it too big. Once it expands outside the window, I do not know how to get it back. By clicking outside the viewport, I can make the viewport zoom. By clicking inside the viewport, I can make the object zoom. Once the border that is outside the viewport is gone, my clicks no longer work to bring the viewport back. There must be some sort of command that I am missing.

Thank you, Doug.

When you cannot click outside viewport, you can use the button I mentioned above to switch to paper space, then you will be able to zoom out in paper space.

HI @Anonymous,

Switching in and out of the model can be done using the button Maxim showed and also by typing PS (paperspace) and MS (modelspace).  If you feel that your view port was created too large, use Zoom Extents to see the entire area occupied by geometry.

I suggest that you also explore using Page Setup to configure your paperspace layout with a desired page size (and other plot parameters).  Then you can size your viewport to the correct size to fit the paper.

Please let me know if you need any assistance with this process.
