Same here

Zooming out parts of the drawing would disappear until zooming again or typing regen, sounds like my problem as well. add to this jirky slow crosshair when within move or copy command.

You would of thought they test these things before releasing them to the public.

Its so bad i cant even work on it.

Time For an Update Please Autodesk !!!

I was having same problems with entire drawing disappearing during zoom, which meant I was doing a regen every 5 or 6 commands.  Everything works fine since I switched to a regular mouse with a scroll wheel, cord, and buttons.  Still don't have my windows-style pan or zoom extents functions on the scroll wheel, but I'm way better off.

I tried that as well with a Logitech mouse, i had better control, but it was the same very slow move within copy or move command, bottom line I can't use the software, it's unworkable.

Well after a long hiatus I am trying out V2015, and it too stinks on the magic mouse, useless.  Oddly the magic mouse works fine running ACAD in a virtual machine i. e. "Parallels" running Windows 7.

I have not used Magic Pref, though I have heard great things about it.  I typically use a Logitec 510 wireless mouse.  It works well.  However I have recently started drafting at home with the magic mouse.  So far I really enjoy it.

If you hold "space bar" you can pan by moving the mouse. if you hold "option" you can pan by using the Magic mouse "middle Button".  It is hard for me to add these habits but I have found that It makes using AC for Mac easier across devices.  So now I can use the track pad, magic mouse, and logitec with about the same ability.

I just installed Autocad 2015, after 2014, and now MagicPref doesn't work anymore!

In Autocad 2014, MagicPref was working very good. As in that Pan worked, Zoom worked, but only after I had to quit and open again MagicPref!

But now, in Autocad2015, it works only the Zoom function! The pan only with the spacebar.

Anyone had that problem?

Can somebody recomend something?

thanks

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi,
I can test this only tomorrow, but for now: can you tell how did you pan with Magic Mouse in AutoCAD 2014? Which "button" / gesture did you use?

I used the MagicPref’s one finger middle axis click held down, and with moving the mouse I could move the trough the drawing.

In my case actually it works, but some somewhat unstable:

When I open file or switch to it from another opened drawing - it doesn't work, but as soon as I select one of the objects in the drawing area - it starts to work.

Yes, I have the same problem with magic mouse.

I have mbpro with toucher and Imac. I installed magic mouse, and bettertouchtool but both of them with problem. As you say, need some object for pan.
