Hello all,

Glad to inform you that Update 3 for AutoCAD 2015 for Mac was released today:

The Update 3 resolves the compatibility issues on OS X El Capitan. The Update 3 is a combo update which also includes the fixes in previous updates. It can be patched directly over the previous versions of AutoCAD 2015 for Mac. It is recommended that you read the entire document properly before you apply the update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Security

The Update is only for AutoCAD 2015 (see link above)
and for AutoCAD LT 2015:

Hi,

This is good news for 2015 users, but unfortunatly I'm still on 2013.

You wouldn't know by any chance if there will be a patch for this version?

I'm currently running Beta Mandalore and I guess it will only be time that this will be discontiued as a testing platform.

Thanks in advance if you have any news.

Regards

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Sorry, but I'm not aware about the plans on Update for 2013 version, it was updated for Yosemite, but now - who knows?

Hi Maxim,

Hmmmmm......

Pity really.

If I'm now forced to acquire a newer version of LT, then this might be time to consider other software options.

I need to move to BIM at some point and since Revit is not an option for Mac, AutoCAD LT was at the time (2 years ago) a temporary solution for financial cost effective reasons. Full fat AutoCAD is not an option and certainly not for nearly £4k and so, my research shall now continue .......... ArchiCAD or Vectorworks.......

Thank you LT, it was good while it lasted :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

Hasta la Vista
