When I drag and drop the LISP file into AutoCad 2025 it doesn't work. I don't get any errors. I uploaded a video for this issue.

Hi @karahandemir ,

Can you share the AutoLISP file itself?

Why do you think the new command that is added after loading this AutoLISP file is COUNT?

COUNT is the internal AutoCAD command:

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2025/ENU/?guid=GUID-85CCF100-3799-4BCE-AE95-245D770B5046

To find out the command that is defined in this LISP, you need to open it in a plain text editor and find the line:

(defun C:

The word after C: is the new command name, which you need to use.

The answer to your problem is as shown in the command line response after you attempted to load the lisp:

vl-load-com function which this lisp requires is not supported on the Mac

One solution is to look for lisp routines that are supported on the Mac version of AutoCAD which don’t require vl functions.

As @maxim_k responded why aren’t you using AutoCADs built in Count command?

because this creates a table with block images for me and makes my job easier. I also wrote it here because it doesn't work not only for this LISP, but also for multiple LISP files I use. Thank you..

There are just lisp support limitations on the Mac version where the only work around would be to continue to use the Windows version of AutoCAD on the Mac by running Parallels
