Linetypes do not display in model space

Hey all,

I am running AutoCAD LT 2018 for mac and I am having an issue with getting linetypes to display properly in model space. This problem has only started recently in existing files that used to display fine. I've been through the forums and have tried messing around with MSLTSCALE, PSLTSCALE, and LTSCALE settings but still can't figure this out. Linetypes display fine in viewports but just appear continuous in model space. Please help! Im pulling my hair out.

Use menu Format -> Linetype to set "Global scale factor" to 1 in order linetypes to appear correctly in Model and enable "Use papers space units for scaling" to show linetypes in Layout viewports (you may need to use REGENALL command in Layout to apply the latter:

Gave that a shot but still no luck. Lines still appear correct in layout tabs after regen but still all lines in model space appear continuous. I made sure my linetype manager screen looks exactly like yours but the issue persists. Could I have some hardware acceleration or display settings messed with that could be causing this? Thanks again for your assistance!

On my side as soon as I set Global linetype scale to 1 linetypes appeared in Model.
Have you tried to open drawing I attached to my post?
And yes, used VIEWRES command to set resolution for curved elements to 20000 (max value).

VIEWRES did it! It was set to 1 in my file. Lines appeared correctly after setting that to 20000 and REGEN command. Thanks so much!

Not sure if this turned out to be your issue but in my case, I was able to solve it by going into
options
then display tab 
then you will find a column display resolution
and there you will see arc and circle smoothness. 
(Previously I entered the number 1 not long after installing CAD - not thinking anything of it at the time) 

I can't say for sure which number would be the best option. But I entered 2,000 
- My unprofessional guess would be " The higher the number, the smoother it will be (OBVIOUSLY) but I would also guess that the more strain it would put on your computer resources since it is (in theory) constantly trying to keep it at the higher level of smoothness if you so choose" - So instead of entering the highest number > 20,000, I went with 2,000

After I changed it from the number 1 to 2k, I applied the changes and I could immediately see the linetypes once again re-appear on the lines that I had drawn and in return, my sanity resumed its normal course. 

It's worth noting that there is a chance that you might have to regenerate the drawing *REGEN* to ensure that all lines, arcs, and circles reflect the changes if they have not already done so. 

Again, I'm not sure this was your specific problem and the settings might be different on a MAC but it definitely prevented my potential result of becoming bald.

Try MSLTSCALE (Model Space Line Type Scale ) and turn it to 1 (on). That should do the trick!
