Line Types

Hello All,

I seem to be having a problem with a chosen line type in my model (ex. Dash Dot) not being anything but a continuous in page view.  I have tried different line types and saving the drawing with each different line type to no avail.  Always a continuous line.

Any assistance in this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What is your LTSCALE set to in your DWG file?
What is your CELTSCALE set to?
How long is your line?

What are your MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE set to in your DWG file?

All these things affect what a dash-dot linetype will look like on your screen: what have you tried so far to fix the issue with those variables?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try this:

1/ While in Layout open Livetype Manager - menu Format -> Linetype

2/ Uncheck "Use paperspace units for scaling", then click on Save:

3/ Use REGENALL command to regenerate all viewports in Layout.

"different lengths" may mean they are too short for your linetypes.

Can you share your actual DWG file?

After replying to you and another person offering help, I put everything back to original, saved, closed program and walked away to clear my head.  Reopened the file and now everything is as it should be.  I am really confused at this point but if it's right I don't want to mess with it.  I do appreciate your help though!
