Length and Angle guide lines ?

I am running Autocad LT 2020 on Mac OS Catalina.

I have always noticed that the length and angle guide lines have been dashed, but somehow this has changed to solid lines. I have found this to be extremely confusing while drawing. Is there a setting that possibly might have changed accidentally? I have attached a photo to help explain my problem.

Did your issue only appear after the Catalina upgrade?

I believe it was before the update, but I cannot recall unfortunately.

It might also be helpful to note that on my other computer (one that doesnt have any custom user settings), that it is working like normal. That computer is also on the new OS.

Hi Carl,

I believe this started with 2020 version (initial version without any updates).
This issue is not related to Catalina, as I can see it on Mojave too.

I tried to reset AutoCAD to default settings and on my side Dynamic Dimension lines are still shows bolder than in 2019 version. Is "the other" computer exactly the same as the first one - the same Mac model, the same external display (if you are using it)?

Actually Dynamic Dimension Lines are still dashed, but length of dashes are now longer and length of gaps are shorter, you can see this on screenshot which compares Dynamic Dimension Lines in 2019 and 2020 versions:

I only know the way to change the color of the "Dynamic Dimension Lines".

Maybe there is some hidden variable or environment variable that sets the length of dashes and gaps, but most likely it is hardcoded somewhere in the application and cannot be changed by user.
