The trim and delete command has a slight but very annoying lag between commands. I have the new MacBook Pro 16" 2021 edition thinking it would solve this, not,  but had the same issue with a 6 year old MacBook.

@Anonymous What is your MacOS please?
What is your AutoCAD/LT year version?
Which AutoCAD/LT updates do you have installed? If you did not deliberately install any, then none got installed.

Do you see the lags only with TRIM and ERASE commands or with other editing commands too?

Do you have any blocks in the "Recent Blocks" tab of the "Blocks" palette?

Thank you for your quick response. I do have the latest update. I tried the trim command and there is no lag. When I select an object and push the delete button on the keyboard there is the lag, same as the erase command, once I erase the object there is that lag.

Do you have Properties Inspector active?
If yes, then close it (⌘+5 shortcut)
Now try to erase object. Do you see the lag?

I just downloaded AutoCad Lt for Mac 2021 edition to try to see if the LAG disappeared: NO same issue for that version.

Did you migrated settings from 2020 version during 2021 version installation?

Try to Reset AutoCAD 2021 without migrating custom settings.
Test ERASE command.
Do you see lags?
