Jumping issue with Add vertex/Stretch vertex/convert to arc option

When trying to modify shapes on autocad for mac (2024), i have an issue with the above listed commands.

Example - when i select "stretch vertex", instead of letting me strectch the vertex to a new location, the vertex jumps to a point and finishes the command. The same happens with add vertex and convert to arc.

I have restarted autocad and made sure snap to grid and ortho are off. This solved the problem in a blank file, but when I opened the file I was trying to complete, the problem reappeared.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The file is attached.

Hi @err23e ,

You need to install 2024.1.2 Hotfix, the problem with grip editing on macOS Sonoma was fixed in this Hotfix:

The following defects have been fixed:

macOS Sonoma Compatibility

Cursor now remains visible while editing dynamic block actions in macOS Sonoma.
Cursor now remains visible when moving away from the shortcut menu in macOS Sonoma.
Cursor now remains visible when moving to the Tool Sets palette or toolbar in macOS Sonoma.
Grips can now be dragged once the grip menu is displayed in macOS Sonoma.
Stretching grips no longer deselects objects in macOS Sonoma.
AutoCAD no longer freezes when attaching a reference from the floating Reference Manager palette in macOS Sonoma.
The performance in AutoCAD remains unaffected when the Caps Lock key is on in macOS Sonoma.
