Issues with dimensions tool settings

Hi 

 

I have recently set up my dimensions tool settings and all was working fine and then the text became unreadably small. on inspection the settings look unchanged but i cannot seem to get the text size to go back to what i had which when working fine..

 

i have lost my arrows as well so something is a miss

yes this is what i have tried to do but there was no change so i went in to the individual txt and changed it.

 

i have looked at the settings again and they are no different from yours but the Dims are still not coming up like they should..

No the file you returned to me works fine and my dimensions tools work fine when im in your file, but when i go back to my file i have the same problem which is baffling as they are both essentially using the same tool..

 

ive looked at the settings when in your file and they are the same as mine ..

@Anonymous-k simply removed your text overrides that he noted in the image he posted: do you know how to do that? It has nothing to do with dimstyle settings.

I corrected only DIMSCALE on the Fit tab (under the picture with dim style illustration)

Plus some of the existing dimensions in your drawing has dimension style overrides, which prevent these dimensions to show correctly.

ok great i think i have sussed it now.

 

it was this as you pointed out..

 

im still not sure why it changed mid work flow but ill keep an eye on it.
