Insert scale bar?

Is it possible to insert a scale bar? I have searched all over but the only instruction I got was to click insert scale bar in the annotation pallette, but no such thing exists. Surely this should be easy enough?

Hi,

You are posting in AutoCAD for Mac Forum. If your question is about AutoCAD for Mac, then there is no Annotation palette in AC for Mac and Scale bar is not available in AC for Mac.

I think also you can find a lot of free scale bar blocks over the Internet.

OK, now I see that you are using AutoCAD for Mac and all this time (since 08-18-2013 you posted on AutoCAD 2013/2014 for Windows Forum.
