Initial Mac setup - right click & customizing tools

I'm setting up the workspace for the first time on Mac AutoCad 2022.

Tutorials suggest right clicking the tool bars to customize them, but this function does not work. I am unable to add and remove palettes. How do I correct this?

Nothing to correct: are the tutorials specifically for the MAC version of AutoCAD?
You can't be looking at Windows AutoCAD tutorials for configuring the MAC version, they are very different, did you not notice yet?

Great: now run with that knowledge. 90% of customizations and interface setup tutorials out there are for the Windows version: not relevant at all for MAC users. You much always ensure you are accessing only AutoCAD for MAC instructions. Sorry, that's just the reality.

1) there are no toolbars in the AMC version.
2) AutoCAD for Mac does not use Tool Palettes like the Windows version. There is the Content Palette where you can add links to blocks but it works a bit differently than tool palettes. Look up how to use it in HELP, I'll get you started here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2018/E...
There is also the BLOCK palette in newer versions, HELP explains that, I'll get you started here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/E...
3) other variations include https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Compare-...

What other items are you trying to customize?

Hi @tylerwelwood ,

There is no toolbars in autoCD for Mac, but there is Tool Sets Palette.

You can find information about Tool Sets Palette customisation here:

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2022/ENU/?guid=GUID-537EE9FB-19F7-44D9-90E9-FE9120BEA783

and here:

you can find a short video about AutoCAD for Mac Tool Sets customization.
