Great: now run with that knowledge. 90% of customizations and interface setup tutorials out there are for the Windows version: not relevant at all for MAC users. You much always ensure you are accessing only AutoCAD for MAC instructions. Sorry, that's just the reality.
1) there are no toolbars in the AMC version.
2) AutoCAD for Mac does not use Tool Palettes like the Windows version. There is the Content Palette where you can add links to blocks but it works a bit differently than tool palettes. Look up how to use it in HELP, I'll get you started here
