Hi, im currently using the autocad student version. I have a problem, i want to plot from dwg to png. But on my printer options, theres no PublishToWeb PNg.pc3 or JPG too, only dwg to pdf.pc3 . Is there a way that i can add the Pc3, or another way to plot my work to png files?

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

you can try PNGOUT or JPGOUT commands .

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @jzafeera

There is no PNGOUT or JPGOUT commands in AutoCAD for Mac, but you can get PNG image on Mac using this trick:

- Print your drawing to PDF, or simply use "Preview" option from Print window

- Open resulting PDF in Preview app, it will be immediately opened in Preview app when using "Preview" from Print window

- In Preview app use "Save as" option - you need to hold Option key to see "Save as" in "File" menu - and select PNG from "Format" drop-down at the bottom of "Save as" window, select Save and you will get PNG file.

Hi Wei,

Yes, I was wrong about PNGOUT and JPGOUT commands.
But I never use them, because of image quality they have.
Plus OP asked about plotting to PNG and in AC for Windows you can adjust resolution go PNG output by adding custom paper sizes. PNGOUT doesn't have this functionality.
That is why I prefer the way I described in my post above.
