How to generate 2D views from 3D models in AutoCAD mac

Hello! I have transferred from PC to Mac and I'm having trouble plating 3d objects. I can not remember how to get hidden lines to appear. In PC I was spoiled by using the view base command. Mac does not have that command. I'm trying to find youtube videos for a refresher but they keep showing the view base command on PC. Does anybody have a quick links for a tutorial? I know how to start a viewport, but I don't know how to get the hidden lines with in the viewport to appear.

I just notice there is a forum for AutoCAD Mac users. I will post my question there. I do not know how to delete post. I will try to delete this one.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you show me the type of thing you are trying to create?  The visual style along with layer controls is how I typically control such things in viewports.  Perhaps you can also share a sample model.

Yes, Viewbase made it simple to some of this but I think you are likely to create what you need in AutoCAD for Mac too.

I used SOLPROF to get this view.

That is what I'm going for. I will try out SOLPROF and hopefully that is the answer I am looking for. Thanks John.
