How to convert block reference to solid object

Beginner in AutoCAD.

I designed some text in Adobe Illustrator, saved it as a .DWG and outlined the text so it contains the font.

I opened the file into AutoCAD and its type is a Block Reference. I tried extruding and press/pull, but with extrude it doesn't go through with an error "1 object removed from selection set" and with press/pull, the application freezes and goes unresponsive.

I tried finding how to deal with block references online and found this: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2018/ENU/AutoC...

I tried Insert > DWG reference > (selected file). It imports as an EXTERNAL Reference. Don't know if that's any better to deal with.

How do I get this file into an object I can play around with?

Hi Yahya,

You simply need to use EXPLODE command to explode block which came from Illustrator:

then you should be able to use PRESSPULL command to create 3D text objects:
