How to assign keyboard shortcuts to Razer computer mouse?

I Have a Razer computer mouse and I'm looking how to assign keyboard actions, shortcuts, etc. to it.

I don't understand how this fonction is attributed on the Mac version of Autocad... How can I do ?

I have Autocad 2020 on mac.

Thank you really much for helping !!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Julie-Anna,

It is not possible to configure mouse buttons in AutoCAD for Mac, but you can try this useful application:
http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/index.html
if your mouse model is supported, then you can assign different shortcuts to its buttons, which will work in specific application - in AutoCAD in your case.

Thank you for your answer Maxim !

Actually I'm trying your app, but it's not working yet. I'm working on it.

Do you think that getting on my Mac the Autocad PC version could be another solution ? To have more personalized options than on the Mac version. Or do you see another type of solutions ?

Thank you in advance,

Julie-Anna

Maybe that is because you cannot find a way to assign shortcuts to specific application?

I don't have Razer computer mouse, but I tried with my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort mouse and was able to assign Cmd+C shortcut to one of its buttons:

Not sure, but maybe you cannot use SteerMouse because you have special Razer software installed on your Mac...

Yes, you can try to install Windows on your Mac. There are two options:

- Bootcamp drive

- Virtual machine, for example Parallels Desktop

Ok thank you really much. In fact it's maybe because I have this Razer software installed, as you said ! I'll try to find out without it.

Thanks for your answers.
