How is AutoCAD on a Mac?

I'm looking into recommending my dad a MacBook Pro for his work. He's been using an old Sony VAIO for years and it's on its last leg https://nox.tips/.

He's an architect so he does 2D drafting on it. Will there be much of a difference from Windows if at all?

Thanks all. https://xender.vip/

Greetings @kashubhaj
There is no reason at all to switch to a MAC if the user has been using the Windows version for years: the entire look is different in the program as well as the computer in general, your dad's frustration levels would go through the roof.

Get him a new Windows computer and AutoCAD for Windows instead and keep him feeling good about the world :cara_guiñando_un_ojo:

Contrary to some opinions, I switched from Windows to Mac a few years back and it was no problem at all! Yeah, some things may be a little different, but didn't cause my world to crumble! I must say, the only frustrating thing is deleting sheets - they have to be done one at a time, instead of being able to do them in a group with Windows. That's really about the only complaint I have.
