How do I display the length of the lines that I have drawn?

I have drawn some lines in Autocad for Mac but after saving the file and going back in, the lengths of the lines are not displayed. I want to check all line lengths. How do display the lengths of each line that I have drawn please? I do not have any function keys on my MacBook Pro keyboard.

Hi Karina,

@karinaluisa 

 

You can temporary display length of already drawn line by selecting it and hovering with mouse over its endpoint grip (Dynamic input should be turned on):

Another method is to look for line length in the Properties palette - select line and look at the Length property:

The next one way -  use DIST , LIST or MEASUREGEOM commands.

 

And finally you can just use the DIM command to put dimension:
