I recently switched from Autocad Lt to Autocad Lt for Mac.  Whenever I hover the mouse cursor over a command icon I no longer see the name of the icon nor do I see any drop down options, even though there is a small arrow in the lower right of the icon.  Is there something that I can do so that when I hold the mouse cursor over the "mirror" icon (for example) the word "mirror" shows up?  Thanks.

Hi @colekartom ,

Please specify your AutoCAD LT version and macOS version installed on your Mac.

You cannot turn on or off tooltips on the UI elements in AutoCAD for Mac, they are always ON and they should appear when you move mouse over an element (button) after a short delay.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did just update my Mac to macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 and my CAD is I'm not sure if this is correct for CAD version, but I'm showing T.113.M.246

Is it Autocad LT 2023 for Mac?

Can you share screenshot of "About AutoCAD" window? Like this one:

If it is 2023 version, then ensure that you installed this 2023.3 Update (if it is LT version) or this 2023.3 Update (if it is full version).

I thought so.

Install 2023.3 Update - it fixes compatibility issues with macOS 14 Sonoma.

Then - test the issue again.

Thank you! I thought so too. My question is, how do I update it? :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

When I do the pull down in CAD of 'check for updates' nothing happens. Then I go to my profile in AutoDesk and it says everything is updated. Thank you!

Thanks! i did check there and its not showing anything. I also restarted my computer and still the same issue and no product updates. I finally got ahold of someone at AutoDesk today and they said someone would call me back but that hasn't happened. Any other suggestions are appreciated! :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

Hi @joleneWU9BS ,

You need to enable notifications for AutoCAD in macOS System Settings and set Alerts as default style for the notifications:

Now check for updates from AutoCAD again.
