help with stretch command

I am attempting to move this doorway up using the stretch command. I need to make the opening exactly 2" from the upper wall. My question is how do i determine that i have moved it the correct amount. i have no way to reference the distance from the horizontal wall at the topScreen Shot 2022-03-09 at 11.28.54 AM.png

I understand the from snap when drawing a line. i have just tried to use it and i am unable to understand how to use it when stretching

let me also say that i understand how to use the @Anonymous to move a set distance. my problem is that the assignment says to stretch the doorway so that it opens at 2" from top. i wanted to know if there is a way to set that.
