Help with OS upgrade and AutoCAD

Anonymous

Folders on your computer that AutoCAD needs access to are not available. AutoCAD cannot run until folder permission issues are resolved.

On a MacBook Pro and this just started when I updated the OS to the new High Sierra; How do I repair?

You might want to ask in the AutoCAD for MAC forum.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

This occurs sometimes with an OS Upgrade. Please follow the steps in this article to resolve the problem.  Which version of AutoCAD do you have installed?  At the current time, only 2017.2 will work in High Sierra.

Hi @Anonymous,

Did you try the reinstall? From what I understand, an OS upgrade will sometimes corrupt some files and this is the best method to get back up and running quickly.
