I use 2015 LT subscription.

I like the concept of the shading hatch and try to use it. But it doesn't seem to matter at what transparency % I use, it ALWAYS hides lines and ALL other details when I apply it. What am I doing wrong? What step am I ommiting?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
If this happens only when you look at your drawing in the drawing window, but when you print (save PDF) it is OK, than please check "Show transparency" button on the Status Bar. It should be turned on.

Please, verify that you checked "Print transparency" option in Page setup (or in Print dialog):

Well, it's easy to explain - you ask in wrong Forum, because here is AutoCAD for Mac forum.

Anyway, I have found some time to find screenshot of Plot dialog from PC version of AutoCAD:
