Finding a good UltraWide 4K monitor for MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, 2017)

Hi Community,

    I am looking for 34" Ultra Wide 4K Monitor for my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, 2017).    I was pointed to LG models, but some of them have USB-C (which I don't have) or HDMI that do not support Thunderbolt 2.   I know you can purchase adapters from Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI, but what do you think is the best monitor for this setup today.

If you have MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, 2017) it only has USC-C ports. Isn't it?

From tech specs of MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, 2017):

"Charging and Expansion
Four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports with support for:
Charging
DisplayPort
Thunderbolt (up to 40 Gbps)
USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)"

While searching the web, I found some Best portable USB C Monitors for MacBook and MacBook Pro USC B C Monitor useful for Apple MacBook Pro. Share your opinion, you like it or not.
