Edit block in place background fading effect

Hello everybody.

Is there the possibility to change the background fading ratio when edit a block using the command "EDIT BLOCK IN PLACE". Using the black colour background I can't be able to modifying the block in place referring to some lines that I have on the background because they almost disappear.

Many thanks and best regards.

Francesco.

Francesco,

Try to play with XFADECTL system variable:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2017/E...

You can use AutoCAD Preferences window:
"Look and Feel" tab on the left -> "Fade controls" -> Annotative objects on the right side of the Preferences window. Set it to lower value.

XFADECTL works perfect for me. Lower values takes the background more visible. Thanks again.
