hey there.
Sorry to bother but I spent all day trying to find a solution for this.
I also have a mac, and a dwg.file that I need to export to dwf.
As soon as I try this into google, this appears:
I've done this,
Logged in A360,
uploaded the file, and I can see it there but AutoCAD Forums also say that you have these option, which I cannot find:
Can anyone please help me with this?
I really need to do this I right now, I don't have a PC to work with..
Thanks in advance
AutoCAD360 does not edit DWF files: AutoCAD360 is a cloud based CAD program for DWG files you can access here http://www.autocad360.com if you want a direct link option.
Question: are you required to send DWF files or is that just something you opted into? PDFs are best for sharing with others if DWFs are not a requirement.
Hello.
Unfortunately I am required to deliver the file in DWF.
I don't even have to edit the DWF file.
What I was trying to do was what AutoDesk recommends as an alternative to this limitation on AutoCAD for Mac:
- to Open the DWG file in A360 and through it, save/export the file in DWF.
But I cannot find the "Actions Menu", select "Edit Online in AutoCAD 360."
No idea friend, it might be old info or you need to be at another interface somewhere.
Everyone else on the planet does what you want to do this way:
You log in at AutoCAD360 here in your webbrowser (I recommend Chrome) https://client.autocad360.com/#/filemanager.html
Create a folder if you want
Upload your file to that webpage
Open your file in that webpage
Print your file (click on the print icon), select DWF instead of the default PDF, and choose your page size, scale etc.
The DWF is created for you.
Follow any and all prompts as they come up to get your DWF.
