Double click to edit text in AutoCad LT for Mac 2015

A couple of years ago I had a problem in AutoCad LT for Mac 2013, I had lost the ability to double-click a dtext or mtext to edit it.  The same with text within a dimension string.  The solution at that time was to trash the file "com.autodesk.AutoCAD.R19.0.ACAD-B032.409.plist" in the ~/Library/Preferences folder, and to let the file be regenerated.

I'm having the same problem now in AUtoCad LT for Mac 2015.  The only similar file that I could find is "com.autodesk.MC3Framework.plist".  Is that the right file to trash in this newer version.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi,

At first, please verify that System variable PICKFIRST is set to the correct value, it should be 1.

Thanks.  That was the problem.  Not sure how it had switched to "0".

Wow thanks, I have been searching for days for this very solution. I have Autocad Lt for Mac 2017 and it just stopped working. I was going bonkers trying understand this and search for the solution, but the problem was the pick first. How would it have gotten changed??? Mystery for sure. Thank you again for posting this.

Same here I am using Autocad LT 2017 for Mac. On MacBook Pro and on iMac. Both versions lost the double-click on the mouse and it has taken me two days for searching to finally find this solution.  Pickfirst command. Thank You! Now if only we could get an easier search for this solution.

Here it is a year later and it happened again, how does the pick first command change on it's own to 0???

This could be a result of recent AutoCAD crash or hang.

My AutoCad LT for Mac 2019 crashed / hung up earlier today and both double-click and right-click failed to work.  PICKFIRST was the issue.  Thanks for your help maxim_k over all these years.
