Display issues

I've just installed Autocad LT for Mac 2021 and am trying to work on some files but there is very strange display issues going on - see image attached.

Even if I start a new clean doc and draw a line, the boxes start appearing and jumping about as the cursor moves.

Anyone had this issue before and is it easily resolved?

Thanks I turned off the Metal setting and it's working well now.
