Dimensions shift when moving entire object

Whenever I move multiple objects, the dimensions shift. (See video)

Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Kyle,

Are you sure your drawing is absolutely flat? That is all objects are on the same XY plane.
What settings do you have for DIMASSOC system variable?
Can you share your drawing (or part of it) here? I can look at it.

Thank you for addressing my question.

This is Autocad LT so I assume there is only X and Y.

Drawing is attached.

The dimensions which tends to "shift" have poor association with geometry in your drawing (you have DIMASSOC=2), so when you move objects, control points of such dimensions move incorrectly.

Do you really need associative dimensions?

If yes, then you need to use DIMREASSOCIATE command to re-associate them.

If you don't need associative dimensions, then set DIMASSOC=1 and use DIMDISASSOCIATE command to remove association.

I removed dimension associations in your drawing and attached it back.
