Defpoints cover my drawing on a mac

Defpoints cover my drawing on a mac

Lately, half way through a drawing, I all of a sudden start getting defpoints which obscure the details within my drawing.

So far, I have not been able to figure out a way to turn them off (get rid of them).

Any ideas?

Thanks, Brent

Welcome to these Forums!

Can you post an image of what you get?  If it involves crosses and/or X's and/or circles and/or squares surrounding definition-point locations, are you using any custom routines/commands that might be changing the PDMODE System Variable for how Points are Displayed?  Read about that in Help, set it to show just a point, or nothing, and see if that fixes it.  If that's the problem, the code for such a routine/command could be alterable to stop it from doing that.

Thank you Kent,

I get grey colored squares that surround the area I am working on.

I will look in help for PD mode.

What surprises me is this has happened before, on occasion, and

always occurs half way through a drawing. I can nor remember changing anything

at the time.

I am off to the help menu.

Thanks

Brent

To add you can look to the following help links about POINTS:

If you are still having an issue could you provide a sample file or a few screenshots of your issue?

Thanks.

I do believe I have narrowed down my problem.
I might have accidentally turned on my Parametric constraints for the defpoints. Now that I have turned them off, they are not a problem.
Thank you for your time.
