CUSTOM PAPER SIZE NEVER SHOWS

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my AutoCad. I've license as a student, here in Italy. I've downloaded the software e activated it correctly. The software work very well but I have an ENORMOUS problem with printer and paper size.

EVERY time I want to set a custom paper size (A3, A2 and so on) it show an error for the paper size. I've tried everything but seems not work. I had to export my file on a friend computer EVERY time and, with the same custom size, there aren't any problems.

Help, please.

Sorry for my bad English.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Federico,

What AutoCAD version do you have on your Mac?
Do you have any printer software installed on your Mac?
Have you created custom paper sizes by your own?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I'm sorry that you are having problems with the custom paper sizes in your AutoCAD.

The paper choices that are built into 2018 product have been improved over prior releases. I too have seen customers problems in getting custom page sizes to work so as an alternative, you could consider adding a large format printer driver to your system that has the desired paper size. This is not mandatory of course but can be helpful for some users.

Can you please tell me which version of AutoCAD for Mac you are using?

I would also like to know if you are printing from modelspace or paperspace, which printer you are using and if possible, it would be great to see the behavior in a Screencast video.
