Create and manage layer filters

I am currently going over the certification prep course and I am working with a MacBook... how do I go about managing layer filters I have explored several possible option for locating the layer filter and I have even looked int the forums. id like some more insight on this please!

In AutoCAD for Mac Layer Filters are called Layer Groups.

Have you read the basic information about Layer Groups in online Help?
