Create a default for the field command for hatched areas

Hi,

I have to create an Area for 30 odd rooms per floor (6 floors).

Currently using Feild command associated with a Hatch to give me an area. I've formatted it as follows

FACTOR: 0.000001

PREFIX: AREA

SUFFIX: SQM

PERCISION 0.0

I've got two issues I'm trying to solve (to help me speed up the process)

1) by default text height = 3 (i need this to be by default = 200)

2) I want to find a way to keep the settings above active for the next field or if I copy the field to simply re-assign the newly copied field to a new hatch. - is this possible?

Using Autocad LT 2017 Mac.

Thanks

Tom

1) STYLE command controls your default text height.
2) No built-in option to do so in LT.

Hi Pendean,

Great, thanks for your reply ill try out no.1

Regarding no.2 you mentioned not possible in my version, out of interest is it possible in the full version of the MAC version or PC version? if so what would be the process to do so?

Thanks

Tom
