Hello,

I'm having troubel with autcad for mac 2015, every time I try amd set a scale in layout space autocad crashes? I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5 with intel 4000 graphics card and 4gb ram. autocad is fully updated. Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Does this happens in only one drawing or in all, even newly created?
Have you tried to use AUDIT command to repair errors in the problem drawing?

Have you tried to recreate Layout?
And what do you mean by "I try amd set a scale in layout space"?
Do you want to set scale in one of viewports?
How do you set the scale?
Is it possible to attach here the drawing with problem Layout?

Hi, yes I tried making a new layout - no change
sorry rushed typing, but the crash occurs when setting a scale via the drop down menu while in a view port.
do you mean attach the dwg file ? yes i'll try that.

Do you need Conceptual or Realistic visual style inside viewports?
I noticed that all viewports in your drawing have visual style different from 2D Wireframe.
Have you tried to change visual style to 2D Wireframe and tan set scale?

Ah , I thought this might solve it.
But unfortunately it has not. the crash happens just after the view port has zoomed in to the scale I have set ?

Sorry, but I cannot reproduce the crash on my side, maybe because of my hardware...
