Crash when editing MText (Sonoma, 2024.1 update)

Having several issues trying to use Acad for Mac.  Most annoying is that it hangs up when (beach ball) trying to edit MText objects.  No response - I just have to Force Quit.  Other problems include working with files on a Dropbox sync drive.  I think I'm going to have to break out my old Windows machine to get my work done...

Any others experiencing this?

Hi @leba-craigv, is the hanging issue occurring on specific drawing/mtext objects? Can you share a sample drawing that can reproduce the crash? 

And did you see the Autodesk Error Report dialog shows up after force quit AutoCAD? If yes, please submit the report and let me know the report ID. The report ID is included in the returned web page after reports sent out.

After some reinstallation and resetting of settings, I found it was an issue with my Synology Drive Client, which needed to be reinstalled.  Working fine now.
