Convertpstyle in autocad for mac

Convertpstyle in autocad for mac

Hi John,

Please could I ask your help with another issue. When I am plotting this file with the autocad monochrome.cbt some layers still appear in colour. I see that the thing to do might be to convert to .sbt however the convertpstyle command is not available in autocad for mac (which I am using).

I see that the next thing to do is open a new drawing with a .sbt setting. How can I do that? I have found out that for a .cbt you can open an autocad preset .dwt but what do I do for a .sbt setting?

Thanks,

HI @Anonymous,

If you are using True Color assignments then they are going to plot in color. One way to change this is to override their colors in the layer manger for a specified viewport or if xreferenced, you can simply override the color in the host drawing.

To convert from Color Dependent  to Named Plot Styles on the Mac you actually have to start a new drawing and select one of the templates that uses the STB plot style. Then you can move your old drawing into the new one and you should be ready to proceed.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.
